R+E#5: The Horse and His Boy Post#2(RESPONSE)

I have started reading the first few chapters of the book. So far, the book is quite interesting, it is almost as good as the previous two. Narnia is a magical fantasy place.

The main characters are Shasta, a Narnian boy raised by a Calormen fisherman when he was a baby; Aravis, a Calormen girl; Bree, a talking horse from Narnia and Hwin, another talking horse from Narnia. When Tisroc, the king of Tashbaan, comes to the fisherman's house they have a conversation about selling Shasta to be a slave. Somehow, Tisroc has Bree captured and since Shasta has to sleep in the stables, Bree starts talking to Shasta and agrees to go to Narnia together to escape.

The plot thickens and I'll post more as I keep reading.
